Weekly Hot Lap Competition Week 3 2014.12.13 start 2014.12.20 end Sc_Aldearing AntiSlider: 26.552 (Mike Nike) - pretty solid lap, only the first curve wasn't optimal. A bit of a "matter of time" record, after being able to drive certain parts of the track close to optimal over and over. Hevonen, long time being on place 1 with his 26.582 (3rd place), has been probably the biggest positive surprise in this week. Even though the track being relatively easy, 99.89% does still look pretty decent. With Tijny slightly beating Hev and Badeend just 0.002 off and Palo trying kinda solid as well (99.81%), Hev had to earn this bronze medal on the hard way, challenging with 4 other drivers in the 99.8% zone. Nice surprise, mc65532 hitting the 99.5% zone with his 10th place. REIROM, personal relative best with 98.47% in a kinda easy track with as far as i remember no need to use the brake, getting actually a somewhat disappointing result with place 26 out of 49, imo. EasySlider: 26.493 (Tijny) - seems easy! Mike (99.84%) also hitting a somewhat strong lap. Place 3 a quite a bit off, Stylus, beating Palo. xzeal on 5th with almost a 99% lap, nice nice! Oh, look at that nick on place 10! "Ku Dern [Ri]" - seems another TS legend joined the party upsidedown - unfortunately he didn't take part with much effort. Spinner: 27.144 (Tijny) - pwning Mike (27.263) by not just outsmarting him with a better line, thx to more experience/skill/spinner physic knowledge or whatever :D...but also by being able to drive even more constantly fast. Still, after driving only Spinner for the first days, Mike being able to drive a lot of times close to "optimal" (hitting many 27.2x laps), was a nice experience, besides enjoying the unusual rare fun coming along with the Spinner. Unfortunately "optimal" was driving a chosen line, which wasn't just as fast as Tijny's ones. Bronze goes to Stylus, again short before Palo! 6th place for iR Nerd UK :) "upsidedown". Upsidedown, REIROM got 1st with Spinner too though, out of 21 participants trying to drive as slow as possible! Slider: 26.151 (Mike Nike) - yammy lap! Especially in the end with a steer correction, so the Slider would gain more speed, but ending up being "off road" entering corner 1. It was tough enough to beat Stylus and Matti, who just beat the 26.3, but Tijnys 26.1x seemed to be a bit far away after the first stints. Nice challenge for 3rd place as well, with the xtreame Team member beating the slider legend Matti here! Yet again, REIROM being the actual winner here ;). Okay, this 32sec lap was probably just a 1 lap result.. Speeder: 24.150 (Tijny) - driving 190238101239102 laps under 24.2, Tijny did an amazing job driving constantly fast, with a lot of sense/feeling for having a good eye for the next coming straights, basicly showing off, he is not just good in aiming/timing, but tremendously well skilled in driving lines. Yet, he didn't reach the 24.0 or 23.9 he actually hoped, he could probably reach. Anyway, the pwnage compared to place 2 and 3 (Mike and sV being just under 24.3) was quite obvious. Overall: 1st Tijny: 992 pts, 3 gold, 2 bronze, dominating once again. 2nd Mike: 963 pts 2 gold, 3 bronze. 3rd Stylus/Palo: 879 pts, Stylus with 3 bronze, Palo with 3 4th places! Good job, team mate! :)
